I'm glad you're here. I've worked as a social worker since 2007. I have worked across many care settings including Grady Memorial Hospital, Emory University Hospital Midtown, Harbor Grace Inpatient and Outpatient Hospice, and for organizations providing psychotherapy services in Skilled Nursing Facilities from 2010-current. I also have a background in education including instructional design, assessment validation, and as a subject matter expert for program development.

I have always strived to allow patients to have the maximum amount of autonomy and self-determination possible. I approach situations from a harm reduction perspective. For instance, you may still get in arguments with your spouse but, with treatment, these arguments will lessen in frequency and severity. That is a win. I use this lens often with patients I treat.  I come with a non-judgmental attitude, ready to listen, and develop a plan that meets your goals.

In my free time, I enjoy time with my spouse, eating my way down Buford Highway, going to festivals here in Atlanta, instant coffee, and caring for my ever-growing number of houseplants.
